Chef on Call is a gourmet food service for students, young professionals, and anyone who desires convenient, home-style food with healthy options at an affordable price.
Chef on Call began in 2008 as an idea amongst friends who, like many other students, were staying up late, hanging out, enjoying each other's company, and ordering food. When their food arrived however, its contents produced the same disappointing result as it had the night before, and the night before that. So in the beginning of 2009, the team of enterprising soon to-be graduates of Concordia and McGill Universities, started making and delivering food out of a small kitchen in a student apartment, and Chef on Call was officially born. The goal was simple; to provide the new and returning student body with quality food and a wide range of selection, at a competitive rate, at hours that catered to their schedule and lifestyle.
The demand for their product quickly outpaced the facility, and just two weeks later they began to renovate a cozy kitchen space on Sherbrooke and Parc that would serve as the base of their operation.Over the last two years the company has grown exponentially, headed by Robert Kauffman and Gabriel Malbogat, Chef on Call continues to improve, innovate and experiment to serve you better.
We take pride in our homemade recipes and our wide range of selection. From breading our one of a kind chicken tenders by hand, to mixing our own hamburger recipe, to all of our delicious dipping sauces including salad dressings and pasta sauces, we offer fresh home-style cooking for the health conscious, comfort seekers, and everyone in between.
